Hi,
I have been suffering from CHs for 5 years, and my bouts last for 6 weeks, and have happened every 1.5 years with the last bout over 2 years ago (I realize that I have been fairly lucky in this regard after reading some of the horrible circumstances others have posted - my heart goes out to everyone).

During the last bout, and I was treated with a bunch of migraine aborters (Migranol, Ergotamine etc.) and then Lithium, which eventually decreased the number of headaches at least until my 6 weeks were up.

Now, I am 2 weeks away from my due date and 4 nights ago the current bout began. I'm frighted mostly for the baby (who reacts to the attacks, I'm sure with my heartrate increasing) and feel a bit lost on how to cope with out any meds. Here are my questions:

Does anyone know of any successful non-med relief? I am going to try water now after reading about that... but anything else? I have been using a meditation tape that helps with pain management, but not pain relief.

I just started O2 yesterday (and tried it with 4 attacks) and have not had any success. I am wondering if I am doing anything wrong? I am using 8ml for 15 minutes (my regulator won't go to 10ml), and the headaches seem to get more acute with the use of the O2 and seem to then follow with a rebound headache.

Has anyone ever heard or know anyone pregnant with CH (I've already searched the site)? I have this hope that the hormonal changes after delivery might shake the pattern enough to abort the entire cycle this time, and was hoping someone had an encouraging story?

Okay, I don't want to drag my worries and questions on too long. If you have any suggestions, I would be more than grateful. Thank you, Lori
