I live in San Diego, am a member of kaiser, and they don't cover 02. I go to a place called Physicians Medical Supply. They rent me a tank, $3.50 a month. The oxygen costs $11.00 a refill. For a $100.00 I bought a used regulator out of the newspaper that they checked out for me so I'm all set. I'd suggest watching the classifieds as a lot of elderly people....(umm how to politely say......die...) and all their medical stuff gets sold for fairly cheap. Most dive shops won't do pure 02 fills and that's what you need. Welding shops don't filter their oxygen so you're really taking some dangerous risks with their 02. Good luck, I hope it proves the miracle cure for you that it did for me.
