Sleeping Through "Shadows"

I'm on 160 mg per day of Verapamil, which has been quite
an effective preventive medication for me. However, I
still have shadows sometimes. These are feelings of
pressure in my head that do not even reach the level of
pain. But, they're uncomfortable. I'm grateful for the
relief provided by Verapamil and feel a bit guilty
complaining about the shadows. But, I have a question.
Have any of you been able to sleep through shadows? Last night, I got about 3 1/2 hours of sleep, and today
I'm a zombie here at work. I think I'm being super sensitive, because when I get a shadow, I'm still afraid it's going to erupt into something worse. Also, I go into a doomsday scenario, thinking that the medication will stop being effective, and then what will I do? Again, the shadows feel like a pressure behind my right eye, and last night, came at irregular intervals throughout the night.

Thanks for any comments.

Jackie
