Scored some Tramodol hydrochloride today... 50 mg. It is supposed to be roughly between codeine and morphine sulfate in effectiveness. *crosses fingers hopefully* A quick search of the net says that it shouldn't be used with MAO inhibitors.... doesn't say why, or what the negative results will be. Since I have just started a regimen of prednisone and Sansert, is it safe to try this stuff? It's WAAAY cheaper than Imitrex or Zomig. I don't think prednisone is an MAO inhibitor... it's a corticosteroid, right? But Sansert (Methysergide) might be. And what about the triptans? (Imitrex or Zomig) Are they MAO inhibitors? I can't seem to find a site that will tell me. I useta know all this stuff, darnit!

Thanks to all of you who answered my first somewhat befuddled post... Jackie, Jun, Clara, Bob P, jeff m, et al!!! It felt sooooo good to have such a quick response from people who don't know me from Adam. *grin* Hey, for all you know, I might be a mass murderer or a politician or somethin'! --- Jes' goofin'..... probably --- ;-) Seriously, though, it felt pretty darn good to get such quick support. This has been a particularly nasty cycle... longer and much more intense than what I am used to. I can be such a wimp, sometimes. (Moan, snivel)

So far two days worth of the pred/sansert regimen has produced no detectable changes. I have also managed to drink three (count 'em... three!) gallons of water in the last 36 hours. Belly stretched tighter than a kettledrum, but no noticeable effect yet. Guess I'll just haveta keep up the meds and the flooding for awhile longer, huh?
