The shots will abort in the height of an attack.. It did for me, it was the first time anything had ever stopped my headache. Yes, after the Dr. injected me I could have went dancing 15 mins later. Ha I am now on the imitrex pills they don't work as strongly and quickly as the shot but my insurance will give me more pills than shots.
