The article (which is in the "medications" section of the OUCH Library) says that during the day, clusterheads have the same Melatonin levels as the control group. At night, the normal persons level rises but the clusterhead's doesn't. Our melatonin levels are flatline, 24 hours a day. This is true whether we are in an active cluster or in remission. This indicates some kind of permanent malfunction of the hypothalamus/pineal gland.

I started taking 3mg at bedtime about a month ago. Sleeping like I haven't in a long time.
