They are a good organization. But it's also important that the sick family member has completely accepted in themselves their situation. About a month before my brother died his live-in girlfriend (I think it was her) got hospice to come over, witout even discussing it with him. And when my brother found out it was them he started freaking out and screaming to get them out of there. He knew he was dying. But for him, the idea of having hospice meant that there was no room for hope anymore.
