Shadows? New to this. any shared experiences are appreciated

To anyone, I am new to this site. Not new to pain but was missdiagnosed as migraine for years. I am thrilled to find this site and I am learning so much. I am trying to gain more understanding on how to treat the pain. Could anyone share what they mean ( saw the definition but would like to hear a "for instance")by the SHADOWS? and do you begin your pain treatment then or wait to see if it will just go away LOL?
