Hi everyone.. well, after nearly 4 months of this headache I finally went for a second opinion. I had been diagnosed with paroxysmal hemicrania (sub group of cluster?) and now, this new neurologist says I have what's called "jabs and jolts" syndrome. He says that is the actual term for it (doesn't sound too medical!) but anyway.. i've been given a whole new cocktail of meds. Lets see.. I have Sandomigran, Epilim (it's some epileptic med or something?!), tryptanol and naprosyn. I hope one of those finally helps me.. but just wondered if anyone had ever heard the condition "jabs and jolts" before. Hope you're all well.. and happy easter.. love melanie
