Now I am going to have to put this very carefully. This is after all not one of those smutty sites.

I have read with great interest the comments about the possible effectiveness of various forms of physical excercise: push ups, sit ups, jumping jacks (whatever they are) weightlifting etc. I figure that with my physical condition and build, I am going to have to wait a while before trying the weightlifting as I've only just started on the steroids (prednisone). Once the muscles are in place I might give it a go and also try and enter for an Olympic team at the same time.

Other forms of physical exertion did seem possible to me and I am usually game to try most things. Now it's at this point in the tale that I need to say that if I catch anyone giggling, especially you lot in North America, you will have to go and stand at the back of the class. This is serious stuff!

One of the things I have learned over the years is that, how I shall I put it, marital relations and cluster headaches don't exactly go hand in hand, if you get my drift. I also only discovered this cycle that Lithium has the exact opposite effect to Viagra.

Well as I had started on the steroid, I have reduced the Lithium and lo and behold certain feelings or urges seem to be returning. Purely in the interests of scientific experimentation you understand, my wife and I decided last night to see if one particular form of physical excercise was good for C/H.

Being somewhat out of practice, as it were, things went off (for me that is) a little quicker, well in fact a lot quicker, than planned. Then, Whammo! The earth didn't so much move as my head exploded. A C/H came on faster than I have ever experienced it. No 5 to 15 minute build up, this was 30 seconds to a minute straight to a crescendo. I had to make a leap from the bed put on the face mask and turn up the oxygen. My wife was left, erm.. somewhat perplexed.

So here's the question for the grown ups: Does Sex give you a cluster headache?

Yes or no's and only clean answers will do!

Bye for now

Laurence

PS On a serious note, I hope no one feels that I am lowering the tone of this site. I really do find it easier to deal with this damn condition by trying whenever possible to find some humour in life. Pain and depression are difficult enough to cope with as it is. I just hope that what lifts me, might also help lift some of you if only for a moment or two.
