thanks for the response. as i mentioned in the previous posting, i've been down the pharmicutical highway and back several times now. meds have never worked for an extended period.some worked for a short time, then had no effect at all. as mentioned earlier, i have a great aversion to needles, so accupuncture is a final act of desperation. if only any of the scores of meds would work for me i would not even consider becoming a human pin cushion. just as some meds work for some people, so does alternative treatments such as accupuncture. i've read posts in the past where some have found relief from accupuncture and i'm desperate enough to try it. what i would really like is to stay on high dosages of prednisone, but doc will not allow this. i'd rather die from the side effects from it but feel relatively good until i did. being chronic for years now, i've already taken EVERY drug the neuros have to offer. still searching for the magic pill to make it all better.
