Hello to you all. I'm writeing this for my sister. I do not suffer from headaches, but she does. Currently she is living with me and I have been trying to help her. SHe is 21 and all of this started about 7 months ago. We thought that maybe it was stree related due to college exams. Then they keep coming. She droped out of school (with only a few units left) left the heat of Arizona and moved in with me here in Ca. She went 6 weeks pain free when she first got here. Once they started up agian ther has been no stoping them. Her doctors in Az. told her they were migranes, but I'm not too sure of this. She doesn't have the "normal"symptoms. The pain is to intense to sleep it off, light and nosie dont' really bother her. The thing that makes me doubt that it is a cluster is that the pain will last for days with no relief. Is this common is a cluster headache? Her nuroligest (sp) has her on antidepresents. I don't know if this is the way to go or not. The other thing is that Imtrex doesn't help, and it can sometimes make things worse. Any insight you can pass along would be much apreicated. Thank you for reading this. I hope that when my sister (her name is Kate) is feeling up to it she can stop by and say hello to you all. It would probably help her to know that she isn't alone. Once again thank you!!
