I can't seem to find anything in the Bylaws that specifies how many Board members there are/should be.

Presently, we have 6 Directors and two vacancies. There are 7 people nominated for BoD at the moment. If 8 is the number, then we might end up starting the year with vacancies....hardly a good image.

Also, Directors serve a two year term. Are all the current Director slots up for election, or are some only one year into their term? Perhaps when BobP posts the Officers/Directors on the membership page (after this election) he can list the end of term for each, like this:

Bob Pahlow - President (12/02)
J. Doe - Director (12/03*}
where the star indicates that this person is eligible to run for re-election. Might make it easier to keep up with who's who, election-wise.
