I have had clusters since I was 19. I am 39. What makes me so angry is that I never know how long in between times they will come back. Sometimes its 3 months, and sometimes its 2 years. My episodes last from 6 to 8 week intervels with headaches 2 to 5 times daily. It is so frustating when you cant commit to things or are afraid to because your life is on hold (along with your family) until the cycle ends. Maybe noone else has these same symptoms. Many years ago before (I) not any doc. found out what was wrong with me I thought I was going insane, and nobody seemed to understand what I was going through. Although I am not happy any one has to go through these horrible headaches I feel some comfort knowing some one understands!!!
