I will confess to keeping a stash of stadol and lidocaine to save me from an ER visit. I still live in fear of a Kip-10, and doubt that I could take that level of pain again. Fortunately, I have a friend who has bestowed his precious vegetable patch on me, and I will surely try a little fungus snack when the the thing returns. Still, I can't help but wonder how many of us could manage with only abortives and not the chemical roulette.
