Bridget has suffered CH's since shortly after the birth of our first child. She had several of the misguided diagnoses until found our current Dr.. However, since she was breastfeeding our second child her options for medicine were limited. We started surfing to find info and happened upon an individual's website (I can't remember the address)who had suffered for years. To make a long story slightly shorter, he noticed that his clusters always happened during the darkest part of the year (late fall, winter, and early spring). He tried to simulate normal summertime day length by staying on a sleep schedule (9pm to 5am) consistantly. Just prior to turning in each night he would sit with a full spectrum light bathing his face for a period of time. He would also do the same thing in the morning.
My wife, Bridget, has done this with considerable success. If anyone is interested in this type of therapy for CH's let her know and we can explain it in greater detail.
