Going to see a new doctor this week!
Jul 6th, 2008 at 3:35pm

My current Dr. just isn't doing it for me.  Time for a change.  Spent the past two weeks in an up and down cycle with no real relief in site.  I think he is at a loss as to what to do.  So....... Donna is going to call another specialist in Nashville tomorrow for me.

I can understand his reluctance because of my heart disease.  But hey staying in constant pain cycle ain't good for the ticker either.  Give me a shot or something!  Just work it out is all I'm asking.  This is really wearing me out physically and emotionally.  Thank GOD for Donna.  My rock in all of this.  She talks to me plainly about the pain.  How we need to be more proactive.

Today the smells have REALLY gotten to me.  There's this funny spicy smell that keep following me around.  Plus all the eye/nose stuff that keeps cropping up on and off.

I'm sitting here doing some design work.  Trying to take my mind off the current blankness that has creeped up.  Vacant symptoms,  melancholy.  Designed a Griffin Needlepoint design.  Need to color it in now.

Thanks for listening.

Hi AJ,

Sorry to hear the beast is still kicking your ass.  The heart issues do complicate things.  Maybe this new Dr can figure something out.  I hope so...

I've never suggested this to anyone before but if all the traditional approaches fail you might want to look in to busting (Multimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or Register)

I've never heard of heart issues getting in the way of this kind of therapy.  Of course I've never done it myself so take what I'm saying with a huge grain of salt.  I'm sure one of the real experts will be along to back me up or tell me I'm all wet.

Either way, good luck ... and tell Donna I said thanks for taking care of my cluster brother and give her a big ole hug for me.

Thanks Dennis!

I had a heart attack two years ago @ 48 years old.  Had several blockages that they had to repair.  Then I developed this Right Bundle Block issue that was literally causing my heart to do double duty all the time.  So they had to put a pace maker and defibrillator in this last March.  That's about the same time the Cluster head thing started too.

Most of the meds they give for CH are vessel constrictors or releases.  Which directly affects my heart rate.  So the Dr has to consult with my cardiologist.  And on and on and on.

I'm in good spirits.  Donna is taking me out to Cracker Barrel tonight!  And then a quick trip to WalMart!!  I've got a great support system.  And I'm trying to keep busy with all my art work right now while I'm out of work on Short Term Disability.  I just can't make that 80 mile drive everyday to Nashville right now.

The kids are out of school for summer.  So we've got LOTS going on.  Keeps me busy.
