I'm a clusterite but this is about something else. Maybe. I've been having sudden attacks of semi-blindness. One eye films over with brilliant colors and shapes, lasts for a few minutes and goes away. These symtoms are apparently consistent with strokes, but after spending every penny I ever had (or really, medicare and my supplementary spending for lab work like drunken sailors) they tell me that no, that's not it. Don't know what is. I have no other symtoms, as stroke victims usually do. My wife says I seem no more confused or difficult than at any other times, so stroke does seem pretty remote. My neuro, who is excellent, has some informed guesses and we are pursuing those. My normal cluster site is about an inch and a half from the eye that's having the trouble, on the same side, and June is one of my favorite cluster months. I have a daughter who thinks there is a connection. (Everybody is getting into the act.) Neuro thinks there is possibly a vague connection to migraines, because of the colors and shapes I see, so it's possible that it's still in the realm of headaches. Maybe. I personally wonder if there is some connection to my clusters, so my question is this: has anybody else experienced eye problems or, hell, any other problems, that seem to be related to clusters by area and timing? If you have, please leave a post, or email me. I'm not scared yet, but I'll have to admit to being worried. Thanks. Bill C.
