Although I've visited this site in the past, this is my first posting. I find the postings both informative and thoughtful. I may be in the worst cluster bout in my four years of suffering. At age 25, I had many aspirations and plans for my life; four years later, all my ambitions have been reduced and redirected to dealing with the pain of clusters...

My neuro is taking me through the smorgasboard of meds I read about here. Unfortunately, my story is no different. Some work, some don't, no consistentcy...
O2 is the only thing that works for me 90% of the time but I probably inhale too much as sometimes I hyperventalate or dose off because I'm awakened every hour on the hour throughout what night there is...

I'll stop complaining now. I do have a couple of questions:
1) Has anyone heard of or tried an Upper Cervical Procedure? From what I understand and please correct me if I am wrong, this is a chiropractic adjustment of no more than the thickness of a fingernail to your upper vertebre.
2) How much does smoking play a part in CH? Has anyone had experience with CH before and after being a smoker?

Thanks in advance and best wishes to all of you,
Cris
