... please please please try to post us a quick update every now and then so we'll know that everything is still cool.

It seems that almost all the folks who have tried the psilocybin therapy stop posting immediately after. Rider, ChgoJack, Monique... where are you?

While I guess this is as good a sign as any that the treatment is keeping the beast at bay, it would be nice to KNOW it. It would be particularly useful to know how long it lasts.

Flash's experiments show that in his case, it's good for about a year, even though he now repeats the dose every six months just to be on the safe side, but I'm betting that some people may get less than six months out of a single dose.

I'm so glad that you're still pain-free. High altitude is almost always a trigger when in cycle for most people... it seems to be mentioned almost as much as alcohol, so I guess in your case, the beast really is on vacation.

I must admit that I've never heard milk or apples mentioned as triggers before, though. I am a major milk fanatic. I probably drink two quarts a day. It never occurred to me to stop drinking it while in cycle. I'm going to stop for a few days and see what happens. Dang, that'll be tough. It doesn't bother me a bit to stop alcohol for months at a time, but stopping milk will be a real struggle.

I'm still diligently searching for shrooms of my own. We had a few thunderstorms in the last couple of days, but it's still pretty hot here, so the odds aren't that good. Oh, well... sooner or later some will show up.

Thanks again for the update. Hang loose.

pinky
