Just finding this site makes me less scared.
I have never met a fellow Cluster sufferer so
it is great to know I am not alone.
I feel I am boring people when I try to explain
what I go through. At first I thought I must
have a tumour in my head, my doctor did not
send me to a consultant until I mentioned suicide.
The specialist knew immediately what was causing the
pain and got rid of it with Prednisilone.
That was 3 years ago with only a single painful
attack since until now ..... IT IS BACK!!!!
Prednisilone did not wotrk this time and I have
started taking Amitriptyline as my Doctor found
almost by accident that this might work.
Next time you are in pain remember that this writer
knows how it feels and is with you until that
beautiful moment when the monster in your head
decides to leave. Ian
