A few more pro bowl games and we'll be there!

Rick..........you can tell 'em for me that their customer service folks SUCK !!!!   No excuse for not getting back with me!   And.......they lost 4 nights of my money!  Course, I am sure they don't need the money....that's pretty evident Huh

The Best Western is just as nice as the Renaissance....AND their rooms are about $20.00 cheaper.  Has the high speed dsl and the same amenities as the Renaissance.

Guess I just hate being "jerked around"......must be an age thing... Huh

Renee,

It shouldn't be a problem us bringing food in.....We'll take it to Tracey and Cat's suite.

We could bring an ice chest if needed....I am sure that Tracey's suite will have a refrigerator though.

I doubt they will let us have snack trays in the lobby...unless we buy from them....but then again..they may.  When Rick gets after 'em with the tree....they may let us do whatever we want...LMAO

For me it’s defiantly an age thing, as I get older, and grayer, putting up this kinda crapola from somebody who is taking my money is not in the equation.  People need to learn you follow the money, after all who is the customer here?

Good Morning,

I went to bed and watched the rest of the pro bowl and yes, it got VERY interesting.

Jean,
You just didn't have the right teacher.  Fly fishing is an art that takes patience and a soft touch.  You can't cast out a lil' bitty teeny weenie fly out into a stream like you cast a bass lure into the lake.  I could have you untied from all that mess and fishin' away in 15 min...GUARANTEED!  It is the tranquility and beauty that is such a plus also.  I always catch, snap photo then release and start over again.

I wish I lived near the Snake River in Wyoming during the summers.  I'd fish from dawn to dusk.

Not a pf night but thanks for the vibes!  I had been doing so good but the last 3 days have been bad.  Oh, well, there is always the rest of today and I'll make of it what I can with what I can see from only one eye open..lol

pf to all

I doubt very much that they will appreciate outside food being consumed in the lobby or lounge areas.  I'm sure it is prohibited which is understndable.  In fact they will probably be irritated we are meeting in a public area and did not book a meeting room with them since that is a good part of ther busines.  This hotel, among others, used to be a customer of mine (I sold wireless Internet access to meeting rooms and common areas) and I know how these guys think.

Beware - they may try to run us out.

Debby went by the Rennissance today and they have 23 smoking rooms open and available as of today at a $79.00 rate.  We will also be checking with the events manager so they will have part of the bar blocked off for us.

I'll get the details of who at the hotel to talk to so a smoking room can be confirmed and post that tonight.  It seems they are more than willing to accommodate us.
