Hey Renee,

That Saturday sounds good to me, and the restaurant also sounds good.  Does anyone know of a hotel that has a nice lobby where we can move to when the restaurant closes down.....

cause I know we will close it down........ Grin.  These get togethers seem to last a little bit longer than you expect!

Lately I just lurk around these boards --- nothing to contribute, I guess.

I would be interested in the Dallas meeting.  I live in Austin, and it'd be worth the  3 1/2 hr drive, just to meet you wierdos..

I'll just watch as you settle the times/dates, etc.

Saturday works for me. If ya'll MAKE me drink that old booze, I'll just spend the night - otherwise, I'll spend Sunday "resting" up.

And yes, these meetings do tend to last a little longer than we  plan. I guess all that "silence" just seems longer when you're sitting there.

And yes, it's worth the drive from Austin to meet the Clusterheads. Ask Steve. He rode his bike from Austin to meet with us and got the thrill of his life - didn't you Steve. Everyone was weird except you and me - right?

Everyone try to make it. It's worth it - trust me - I'm old I know about these things.

Miklos
Jadedgazer & Mike (hubby)

please let me know if your supporter and/or spouse will be attending also so I can update the list.

Current 14 plus additional supporters/spouses to be added to list.

roxy, did you ask DJ about coming back with you?

we need more!!  i need to rely on some of you to contact any that are missing from the list as i'm not yet up on who lives where and who might be missing or not read the post yet.

I also need to know how many will need overnight accomodations and if you are interested in all those staying at same hotel.  We can try and get group rates for those overnighting and use that hotel lobby after the restaurant closes.

pf to all

Renee,

I didn't know you were looking at hotels for everyone, and I already booked a room for Saturday night.  It's at the Embassy Suites by the Galleria.  It has an atrium lobby with a bar, where we can hang out if we need to.  Plus, my room has a big living room.....so, if they kick us out of the lobby....we have somewhere to go.... Grin.  I think the suites are around $100 a night, but they have smaller rooms too.  My room will sleep four people....and the couch folds out....so we can stash people wherever we need to.

If you want, I can call them back, and see if we can get a special rate.

I think Not4 may be coming up from Austin....least, I hope so..... Smiley

Think Cat may be coming down too.

glad to hear Cat and not4 might be coming.

the thread has comments from a few stating they would be driving back home on sunday so i just mentioned the hotel idea to see if anyone was interested.

embassy suites have wonderful large lobbies in most of them....that would be a great place to move to after the restaurant.   all the embassy's i've ever stayed at also have a VERY good breakfast buffet included in the price of the room.

i live 40 min. north of dallas so i'll leave the hotel idea to those not living nearby.  sound ok with y'all?

Roxy, the Embassy sound great to me.  If you need its only about 5 minutes from my office so after you talk to them if you think it would help us get a better room rate I can go by and talk to them face to face.  Don’t know if it’ll do any good but if needed I can try.  When you talk to them about how many rooms count us in for one, don’t want to miss anything especially breakfast Sunday morning.  If anybody needs a room the more we have the better rate we can get.

Renee, put my wife, supporter, on the list.
