Hi All,
Another year is coming to an end. It's been a good year for
me. For the first time as long as i can remember,no Autumn
or Spring CH's. And, the only thing i can put it down to, is
the vitamin D3 remedy. Thanks to Batch i'm no longer going
to worry when Autumn and Spring are due. Instead i'm going
to join the 999 club.

Cheers, Hoppy.

Good news is I am alive, able to walk, function in life without pain meds, etc...better than 8 year ago on this 1/26th day when I was in a snow sledding accident that caused 8 broken ribs, 1 of them which pierced and collapsed my lung (hemo-pneumothorax), 6 cracked vertabrae in my spine, both front teeth smashed and a coma lasting three weeks to awake to the beginning of a living nightmare of rehab in many aspects.

Under the circumstances, life is fabulous today and that is my good news! Wink

Good news is easy to come by these days.
*I was finally able to get O2 last week and even though I'm still getting 2 to 4 CH a day they have dropped from 7/10 kip to 1/4kip and from 20/50min to 3/4min. This is reason for bubbling over with joy.
*I have an amazing boyfriend (Kyle) who does everything he can for me, including supporting me while I get my seizures and cluster headaches under control.
*Despite my rare hereditary epilepsy and the expectation I wouldn't live to see 25, my 30th birthday is less than 2 weeks away.
*The first band I managed, though not together anymore, are all in my life and over the past years taught me what maternal love feels like. Within 3months all of them have/are turned/turning the age of majority. Each and every one of them has given me reason to be proud of the logical,  motivated, respectful young gentlemen they've become.
*My "Son" Cole's housewarming! XD
*Just to cheer me up, even though he's Always keep it shaved right off, my boyfriend grew out his hair. To everyone's surprise he has a Bob Ross style afro.
*because of the hair my boyfriend's alter ego Digital Shadow is making an EDM song called Happy Trees. LOL!
*we are nearly finished printing a Mendel RepRap with the Brostrap (the RepRep we designed ourselves out of garbage, optic end stopps, drivers & an arduino) and are nearly ready to start making...EVERYTHING! R

Just bought the new Pink Floyd double Album recorded live

missing two members from the group.  Smiley.

more good news...  just won the promotion board.

i am now sergeant promotable.

i saw something that i have never seen before.  i got pretty flustered at the beginning of the board from some pretty vague questions and totally blanked on some simple questions later on.  because of that got three no votes and two yes votes.(which means i dont get promoted)

sergeant major pulled his rank and overrode the no votes.  i have never heard of that happening.  he said he had never done that before, but that he wants to put more stripes on my chest.

i walked out stunned and elated.

Good news, Aubanbird!

My good news is I just returned home after a week in the south.  My eldest son just graduated from the Customs and Border Protection school in GA.  We stayed two nights at a resort he is a member of in Saint Augustine, then drove to North Carolina to spend several days with the wife's parents.  On the way north we spent most of a day at Jekyll Island, and had a great time on the beach.  It was quite chilly to the locals, but since we left single digits and 3' of snow it was shorts and tee-shirts for us!  Cheesy

I'm really proud of my son, Rich.  I have indeed been blessed in my kids!

Forgot to mention some good news personally.  When we went to Jekyll Island I was actually able to walk about 200 yards down to the beach without having to use my walker, and made it back up to the car as well after walking in the sand for a hundred feet or so, and standing unaided for over thirty minutes!  I'm finally getting better.  Not well yet, or able to go back to work, but doing much better!

Fortunately, my daughter was doing the driving, because I slept five hours between there and Asheville, and then slept over twelve hours when we got there. Cheesy  God is good, and has been taking very good care of the Callison family!

since i started "busting", i have seen a lot of dramatic improvements in my life.

i was finally able to get some decent sleep.  so, during the day, i could deal with stuff....  i have finally begun to deal with what is supposedly called "survivors guilt".  basically, i got drunk, called mommy, and cried like a baby about the fact that i couldnt save my buddy when i was in iraq.(i couldnt have gotten drunk when the cluster headaches were ruling me)  that incident led me to seeking help.  it led me to actually talking about my pain, which helped me to move on.  it feels good to be where i am right now.

if it werent for the "alternative treatments" that a "shady" side of this board were willing to share with me(us), i might not be where i am now.  i might be dead, or still living like a zombie.

since i started busting, my career has improved, my self confidence and self esteem has improved, my sex life has improved, my relationships have improved...  everything has gotten better.  i even feel like i am smarter.

im loving life right now.

My good news is we got our septic tank pumped out.  The last owners lived here 7 years and had never done it. The poop pumper tech said we had at least 6 months before the the big flood.
You know you're getting old when the biggest event of your week is getting the septic tank pumped. Sad

$350 for a 1500 gallon tank. Much cheaper than a flood later on.
