Hi Folks, I've been visiting here for awhile but not posting and I've seen the board go through a lot of changes. I am so glad is has become a prayer group for
people who have headache pain! I am a 35 year old male and have suffered from atypical cluster migraines and I need some help. I can't seem to get away from this pain and I feel I am becoming suicidal. My face and neck hurt all the time now and I am not getting any break from the pain. My doctor has told me that because my cluster migraines are atypical that I should probley try putting my faith in God as he can't help me anymore. I 've tried all the different medicines he has suggested and nothing has helped.I maybe have two days a week when I don't have pain. I remember a post on the subject of atypical cluster migraines but can't find it. I realize that some of you don't call them cluster migranes anymore, but I still do. I believe that headache doesn't describe the pain enough and people understand the migrane word easier. Because I'm atypical my migranes hit higher than 10 on the Kip scale. I would say I stay at a constant level of about 12 through the daylight hours and then maybe down to 10 at night when I am sleeping. My doctor has said I should feel fortunate I can sleep, but that's what makes me atypical, I guess.
