Now that we know there are so many of us out there, I did up a little message (a press release if you will) about the condition of cluster headaches the other day when I got off work. I sent it to Dateline NBC (the TV show), The Los Angeles Times, The New York Times, and my local paper here in Wichita just to see what would happen.

I was wondering...

What if we put together a very nicely worded press release that would bring attention to cluster headaches...letting people know that what we have is a very real thing. I could post the finished copy of it on the site where EVERYONE could copy it and send it to their local newspapers and maybe TV stations. We might also be able to send it to some national health magazines or something. I think the more information that we can get to the general public, the more 'normal' people might be able to understand our pain.

Whatcha think?

If anyone out there is really good with words, I'd probably need some help with this one. Laurence, I don't mean to put you on the spot here, but you are very good with putting words on 'paper'. Anyone else? Anyone think it's a good idea? I think it would be INCREDIBLE to see a story on national Prime Time television about cluster headaches!!!!
